It was a great system in the summer of 05 when I built it and at the time, it had a pair of Radeon X800XL's.

However, by today's standards, yes I consider that ancient.

The seemingly sparse performance difference between his system w/the 8800 and mine with the 8800 is enough to convince me that although there MAY be a point where crysis DOES need a decent CPU, that system listed is enough to make it a non issue.

Don't cry guys, i got myself one pair of 8800gtx in SLI and i am still not satisfided. there's really not much more to catch. I still can't be using AA when am on Veryhigh in 1600x1200. But with two 9800gx2 in Q-SLI sure i can.
