Default Xinerama with the NV driver

Does anyone have an example of a working configuration using the GPL-ed NV driver (not the binary-only "nvidia" driver) for driving two monitors with one GeForce card?

Whatever I do, I end up with this message:

Code:
(WW) NV: More than one matching Device section found: 1 GeForce 8
and then both monitors display exactly the same thing. Adding "Screen X" to the device sections doesn't change it.

The "nv" driver does not support multiple X screens on a single GPU. It does support multiple displays on a single screen through the RandR extension on GeForce 8 and higher GPUs.
