I need some help here. Im sorta new to the whole fan ctrl'er world and i think i installed my Zalman ZM-MFC1 wrong.
so here's the parts: Zalman ZM-MFC1 4, 3pin ext. cables that i am using because my current fan connectors were to short. Anddd 4 Yate loons (medium speed blue led 120m) Now I have everything in the pc good, and all the fans are working, and the controller does power up, but it doesnt seem to control the fans! I have all 4 Yate's hooked up to it and they just wont slow down or speed up when i move the knob. Anyways. How is it supposed to be set up? Whats the proper way? That should help me a lot. BTW i have a 680i SLI |

i have 3 fan headers on my mobo, i just dont know what do do with what here! ah, this is frustrating.
one is by the cpu, the 2nd and 3rd are at the bottom, on at the left end under my xfi and the other is at the far right next to the serial connector also it looks like my fans are 12v, and the zalman only likes 7v? is that true? what can i do about that? if i cant work around this im just going to send the controller back to SVC and get this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=23039 it supports higher v's |

here, http://www.gadgetgrid.com/2008/02/05...roller-for-pc/ buy here, ask for Bucky, tell him CapnKirk said to take care of you. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/59...l?tl=c17s286b2 performance-pcs sells used, open, broken products. spent $2200 there and got crap, wrong case (black instead of silver), need I go on... Hank took 4 weeks to refund my credit card...
