With my Q6600 and new 8800GTS 512mb G92. Both overclocked a bit.

You should get that q6600 up to at least 3.0. Then you'll get 13.5k.

15k here, 3.3Ghz on Q6600, make sure you grab rivatuner and O/C that 8800GTS some more...I'm @ 800mhz core easy, I haven't tried to push further but I've had zero problems in-games and benchmarking.
