The delay has to do with the instability of the C0 stepping Yorkfields on low grade motherboards Because of PSB noise from the cheaper 4 Layer PCB the C0 stepping chps could not keep a stable FSB Voltage which would sometimes lead to instability.

When do you suppose we shall be seeing some Q9450's, the Q9300's just hit the market as well as the E8200. They seem to be trickled in, one at a time.

It seemed to me that Q9450 are now available to OEM and system builders but not retail yet either in USA and UK. If you live in USA you can buy Q9450 OEM now in stock for $359.99 and MESH Computers UK selling Xtreme GTS Quad Pro PC with Q9450 for 1198.99.

I found another site got Q9450 OEM in stock.

Scan in the UK are now saying that their ETA is now the 28th of March.

I imagine waiting for a Q9450 is a bit like chasing the end of the rainbow.

If you haven't ordered from Tank Guys before, don't worry. I have had no trouble at all with them. Now that they have the Q9450 I will be ordering from them again

Hmm, if only they had the Q9550 I'd probably order one right now. I've never heard of this place before but there not too far away.

Looking at the prices though they seem to be inconsistant. Some things aren't too much more than at other places, and others are a lot more.

I checked it out and TankGuys did not have any BBB rating but they use Resellerratings.com, it has 147 reviews by TankGuys customers.
