Played for about 20 minutes SP as Mario... this game looks pretty good for the Wii... lots of characters to choose from.

Ya I was really impressed, I wasn't expecting much going into it.

I will definitely get this one. Unfortunately, I have a pretty major research paper due before spring break, and I'm afraid that this would be too much of a distraction while trying to complete that.

I'll wait until spring break to get this one.

I tried to find it tonight for purchase OR rental, and no dice. So I'll have to keep my eye out next week...

Just beat single player. Its funny how they can make story with so many characters that have never meet, and make you laugh and actualy tell a neat story without any words at all. Great game, anyone with a Wii should own it.

Multiplayer time.

I've beat the versus mode with Link and Yoshi... pretty easy on normal difficulty. Fair amount of button mashing involved, though supposedly there are more complex moves that I haven't needed yet.

MP is pretty fun, though sometimes the action zooms out so far it's hard to see what's going on. I sit about 6' from a 37" screen.

Should be a fun game for a long time.

Brought home Smash Bros tonight, went to fire it up and it wouldn't load..

Ive had my Wii since launch and never had a problem booting games, but apparently some consoles are having issues with SSB because its the first Dual layer game disc, Nintendo is blaming it on a dirty lens and they even offer to fix it for free..

I figured instead of waiting 2 weeks to get my Wii back I decided to try cleaning the lens myself .. It was a bit of a pain opening the Wii but Long story short Nintendo was right and the game works fine now, This is my first SSB experience and so far its pretty damn fun

It's a great game, still working on Subspace Emissary and I've run through the classic solo mode with a couple different characters. Did some Brawl too with a friend and we had a great time, also tried the internet feature and it worked great and was very fun too.
