My XP install works great with my LCD panel and I can get Linux working but I get distortion on the very bottom of the screen. A single line that is annoying.
Is there some tool for Windows that will extract the current modeline? |

Here is a url for an online calculator, but there is a command line calculator. Can't remember the package name.
http://www.bohne-lang.de/spec/linux/.../index.html.en Myth has the very best modeline recources I have found. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Modeline_Database |

Use gtf: http://gtf.sf.net (it was made by an Nvidia guy based on Vesa specs).

I think he asked for a way to extract the settings on his Windows XP box as a modeline for use with Linux, not a modeline calculator.
