Default FPS limited :(

I have a strange problem, i using geforce2mx agp card and while playing linux games the FPS dosent increase more than 50 even in the lowest or highest gfx setting, kindly tell me what to do to unlock the FPS, iam using the latest nvidia driver.

"unlock"? What?

What are you using (which game, for example) to measure your FPS that's changing by as much as 50? What are you talking about when you say "lowest or highest gfx setting"?

In the game chromium the FPS doesnt go more than 50 FPS even when i reduce the detail level or increase detail level the FPS dosent go more than 50 FPS. How can i fix this?

It does the same thing on my system and I run a Nvidia GF4 Ti4600 128MB. I think that problem is game related and nothing to do with the Nvidia drivers. You may need to contact the game writers on that subject. And on the other hand if the game runs ok, I wouldn't really worry about it.

Try it with another GL FPS game like UT2K3 or Q3A. With those games, changing the detail WILL show FPS changes.
