Asus P5K SE, 2 Gb Corsair XMS2 - pc6400
All voltages default, timings default, everything default but fsb and playing with the divider to keep the ram at or below 800mhz. I can't find an 'unlink' option in the bios, and the 'FSB Strap' changes my rams speed on me at certain fsb. I understand it's supposed to in order to keep the nb within limits? ![]() Everything seems right, ran Orthos for over an hour no sweat at all, but I can't shake the feeling I'm missing something concerning the ram. Help a guy out? TIA! |

Turn off the CPU speedstep in the BIOS if you haven't already.

I did that first. There may not even be a problem, other than the stock hsf. I'm just a little confused after reading all the C2D tutorials for overclocking out there. I feel like I'm missing something with my ram speed. I dunno, it's late, I'm old
