Default SuSe 8.1 & Riva TNT2 Pro

This is driving me bonkers!

Exactly which driver am I supposed to install and from where for 3d hardware support. Yast2 just says to download from nVidia site, but doesn't give the full path to the ftp server.

I did a full automatic update, as recommended, but it still says that my video driver is the dummy with no 3d capability.

I'm a bit of a linux novice, so help in plain English would be helpful.

Thanks,

Rob

Please visit ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/1.0-4363 for SuSE 8.1 RPMs.

Thank you Andy

I have now managed to find out how to do it, and my card is 3d enabled. Just a few minutes before your reply.

Now trying to find ncpfs - which doesn't seem to be on the personal distro.
