Does the loaf of bread have the 6 pin or 8 pin connector? I'm not buying a new PSU just for some ****ing toast.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been looking at the performance of quad cores in Crysis (the only game I'm playing thats giving me troubles) compared to the e8400 and it just didn't seem worth it. The quads are obviously more future proof, but this should be me by till Nehalem and the price is right. Not to mention its a massive improvement over my 3.0 Windsor!

oc'd 8400 runs quad core aps faster than oc'd quads

By the time games catch up with quad core there will be something better and cheaper so I dont think quad cpu's are all that future proof compared to the new dual.

Dual core 8400/8500 is the way to go for the next 8 months IMO, Hopefully a new revision can handle the volts better and not kill em.
