Got it to work with inserting
Option "IgnoreEDID" "1" into the XF86Config file. The reported EDID information about vertical and horizontal sync ranges was different from 3123 and 4363. 3123 4163 vert 54-62 0-60 hor 30-100 29-73 After diabling EDID X uses the following freqs. **) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 162.0 MHz, 75.0 kHz, 60.0 Hz This was the same with 3123 and has worked fine for about a year. Should I be concerned about the inconsistency? Is it "dangerous" to use a mode that the EDID information does not suggest? Regards |
