Can't wait. My grandfather was in the Pacific. If you guys wanna see how the Aussies did it, watch Kokoda. You'll see why you guys wanted us for Advisors in Vietnam.

Just because of what I said doesn't mean I’ve been there. After hearing all stories and met some old veterans from D-Day and whatnot... they really made me feel like I’m actually there. It’s inspiring and wondered how harsh the situations have gotten when that happened to them in a battlefield. At the beginning of every episode there's veterans that spoke about their experiences (where it's related to following episode) were pretty emotional.

This series ranks very high along with Saving Private Ryan and few other war movies.

Yeah but it won't be named "Band of Brothers: Pacific" or any way related to that series. Probably will be promoting by "From creators of Band of Brothers" or something like that.

But yeah, I can't wait!

EDIT: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0374463/

Coming next year. Boo.

The beginning does give you a sort of nostalgia feeling. You should read the book Biggest Brother: The Life of Major Dick Winters, The Man Who Led the Band of Brothers. It's the whole BoB series rolled up into one book plus more.

Speaking of Saving Private Ryan, that movie on Blu-ray would be EPIC...any news?

I'm not much of a reader but I'll take a look for sure. Thanks for that info.

Well since it's from Dreamworks... they haven't announced a single Blu-ray movies since the demise of HD-DVD. They did mention they're currently have something in development for Blu-ray and will make an official annoucement soon. Hopefully one of those is Saving Private Ryan. Once BoB is released and becomes one of best selling movie/series (it probably will), a good chance that Dreamworks will consider releasing SPR shortly after.

Glad I'm not the only one that has war movies playing in the background while gaming. Am I?
