Well, I don't have them hooked up to a fan speed controller, they're just connected directly to the mobos. For some reason I do doubt they're functioning at full speed, but they do move plenty of air and are quiet while doing so, atleast from my experience. Seems mullet's experience says other wise.

If you're more comfortable with Antec, get those. I've just not found any fans that move as much air as these SilentXs while being as quiet. One thing I do know, I'll never buy another Vantec. Purchased a 92mm from them that moves like 110CFM... but it's louder than our upright vacuum.

I have 5x120mm of SilentX in my wifes TJ09 case at full speed and guess what they are loud!!
I have 5x120mm of the Antec's and they have a fan controller built in low/med/high and on high there quieter then the SilentX fans and the Antecs are dual ball bearing. Plus with the SilentX on high and the Antec on high I would say the antecs feel like it push's more air.
so is this fan better than what Redeemed linked?

Pfft! The AthlonXPs PWN ALL! Bet this 2800 at stock speeds runs circles around the fastest and highest OC'd Core2. Yeah, that's right. And my 6800GS is a limited edition that's actually sportin a unified shader architecture... has 256 Stream Processors, 1GB frame buffer (4x256) GDDR5 @ 3.5GHz, and a core clock speed of 1.5GHz, stream processor speed of 2.2GHz, and 96 ROPs.

Yeah, my rig is 1337. Bow before it you weaklings!

Noctua are awsome, I had two in my case. Extremely quiet but not the best for a CPU Fan.

Thanks for the reminder! I really should save my 2800 from the dust bunny raping it over on the shelf.....

Yeah, The pressure and CFM aren't optimal for a CPU fan.
