Hello All,
I have recently built a new HTPC and am using the latest nVidia drivers for the biostar motherboard graphics card i have. The mobo has an HDMI out connection which i am using to connect to the TV. The connection works fine except for the fact that i am getting the overscan around the edges. i dual boot with vista and linux. In vista, the nVidia driver gave me the option to correct overscan and many different resolutions to display at. In Linux however,(UBuntu Gutsy) i have only a few default options all of which give overscan. These mode line things seem like such hacks and i still haven't found if they work for anyone. Doesn't Nvidia know there is no fix for this in Linux? Any solutions to fix overscan lately would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! ![]() |
