Default Xorg crashes on inactive screen when more than one user is logged in

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy at the moment. If I use the fast-user-switch-applet to log in a second user, then Xorg will crash on the inactive screen (first user) when the screensaver activates several minutes later. If I lock the screen from the first session, and then select 'Switch User' (which makes GDM load a second Xorg), the screensaver activates almost immediately for the first user, and Xorg crashes straight away.

If I disable the first users screensaver, then I can log in 2 users simultaneously with no crashes (note, my screensaver is only set to blank screen).

I'm attaching the nvidia-bug-report.log. I'm not sure what other information would be useful, so I've also attached a backtrace from the crashing Xorg. I don't know if this is sufficient to determine if the crash is in the nvidia driver or something else.

Heyho, you're not alone, i'm experiencing problems with more than one session, too.

Start a session @ :0, do whatever you need to, start another session @ :1,
run something like flash in a browser and session :0 dies.

Sorry for not posting any logs, but i'm using 100.14.09 atm because of this problem
and i ain't got no time for just doing bug reports.

The only solution i got for this is downgrading drivers to <169.xx, which is a huge pita,
because there aren't any patches for v2.6.25 yet.

I might try downgrading as well then, as I run a multi-user system and I need this functionality to work correctly.

Do these nvidia people have a bugzilla or something like that?
I'd like to know if we're the only two people having this issue.

Well, my guess is, most people don't use their pc as a multiuser
platform with parallel desktops running, so nobody else might experience this.

FYI, I reported this on Launchpad a while back, although it doesn't contain the detailed backtrace I posted here (only the backtrace from the Xorg log). The Ubuntu guys think this is a NVIDIA problem, so I guess I'll just have to wait
