It probably is, but around the middle of July everything disappeared. Some threads randomly came back, but the majority of the stuff before then is gone.

I just did a search for your name in the Testing forum and it came up with under 3400. It caps the search at 5000, so you didn't hit the limit.

It must be some kind of error because I know damned well that you've posted more than that in there.

What you call "spam" in the testing forum is good times for some of us, would you prefer we moved our posts to P&R, Open, Sports, Linux! I didn't think so, we already do our part to ensure that topics don't get too heated with our lighthearted funnies. Besides would you rather see 25 new posts or 2?

I challenge you to find a forum where people can connect on a completely humorous level and find comedic joy in the simplest of forms without the rigmarole of maintaining/defending your various social/lifestyle affiliations.

I agree. I would rather have one section where crainger and crackhead meth is fapping off in the corner somewhere, instead of a massive amount of spammage all over.

I do tell people to edit their posts and limit some of crap, so it's not as bad as it could be.

Dude, make it optional. If you don't have a clue about what I am saying, go do some research before responding.

I have already posted early in this thread that there is no harm in having a spam section, just allow those who don't want to see it to hide it or un-select membership.

It is not very complicated and many forums have just such a means of filtering content that we view.

As for whether I would see 25 posts or 2, we were hardly lacking in traffic here before the testing forums went ape-**** with spammers.

If I was commenting on your exact thoughts I would've quoted you, lighten up meng. I was more or less commenting on the basic anti-Test forum opinions people have had in this thread.

That's only because nVJoe signed up a few more names...and just to clarify what we do in the testing forum is much more like "chatting in a forum" then spam. For it to be spam we would have to be selling penis enlargement pills, soma, real-estate in India, offering you the chance to participate in a multi-billion dollar money transfer to save a prince in Africa, viagra, and of course Russian brides.

Again, what you have said here and in your previous post has what to do with hiding the section?

Make it optional. It's quite simple to do.

delete it, or make it so it doesn't count towards post count.

people post crap in there just to raise their post count
