need to know what is better...
Higher multiplier speed ( 3.6G 9x400 ) or higher FSB ( 3.6G 8x450 ). My ram will not overclock for nothing.... I can run 9x400 no problem all day every day. But noticed i get owned big time in benchies by those running higher FSB. So is higher FSB favourable ? Does it generate more heat that using just the multiplier ? ( i suspect that the higher FSB is running the cache at a higher speed, resulting in the higher numbers, but also suspect higher temps are seen ). Answers would be welcomed, as i would like to know if replacing my pathetic RAM would see tangable benefits. TIA.....
