How would you guys rate the game. Worth a purchase?
Hmm to me its worth it. story is good although ending was a cliffhanger. gameplay can get repeative if you try doing all the challenges/side missions. graphics are great & performance is decent.

I'd rate it a 7.0 - 7.5. A little too repeative and for people that complained about Crysis having a bad ending, they would seriously STFU after playing AC. Definitely worth the purchase, for the visuals and nice combats alone, but the bargain bin would probably do it more justice.

I don't mind the ending at all... It certainly wrapped up the cursades-era story and killed the main bad guy of the game... The inevitable sequel will likely be in a new era with the already established connections, and I look forward to that.

It was certainly better than a completely unended story with a to be continued like Crysis, Halo 2 or Rainbow Six Vegas.

It's Worth it
I tend to attack the guards and then try to get as many fighting with me as possible.
One thing i noticed is that just like Altiair when you throw guards in the water they die too
They must have learned to swim using the same teacher as the Koreans in Crysis where they just die

It doesn't take much sometimes to set them off. Especially when there is an archer on top of one of those wooden platforms - he starts screaming when I'm a half mile away, even if I'm doing my best to 'blend'.

I have to climb up there and kill him just to shut him up. Happily this is not too difficult.

Try throwing the guards into knee high shallow ponds. It's funny watching them squirm when they could simply stand up. Altair also dies if you jump in as well. It's funny because he can climb the highest buildings and jump off into haystacks from 500 feet up, but can't swim or stand up in knee high ponds.

I do find the fighting to be very stress reducing sometimes. It feels good when you kill 50 guards in one area and their bodies are laying all around you. I usually try to find areas where there are tons of guards or areas where guards patrol it regularly. Then go crazy and kill every one there and wait for other guards to come and keep piling the body count. It's also a good stress test for your GPU since the bodies can pile up a lot.

The ending was a bit sad because..if you plan to play / follow PC side...you KNOW its gonna be a long time wait for it to come out...
