Default Bug: 169.12 does not resume from S2RAM (169.09 is fine)

After an upgrade from 169.09 to 169.12, my laptop does not resume
from S2RAM: the screen stays unpowered and the keyboard leds don't
respond to the lock keys. The rest of the system is up and well,
though, and I can login from a remote host and reboot the machine.

I cannot generate nvidia-bug-report.log after resume, as the script
nvidia-bug-report.sh hangs when reading /proc/driver/nvidia/cards/0.
So I attach a "pre-bug" version of the log (with some "Validating Mode"
parts trimmed to fit into the 146k size limit). The "after-bug" Xorg.log
with failure messages is attached, too.

Kernel logs of suspend/resume are the same as with 169.09, except
for one difference: in 169.09 I had "NVRM: RmPowerManagement: 3"
on suspend, and "NVRM: RmPowerManagement: 4" on resume.
In 169.12, I have "NVRM: RmPowerManagement: 4" on suspend,
and "NVRM: RmPowerManagement: 5" on resume.

I really do hope for some help with this, otherwise I'm stuck with 169.09
which won't be compatible with the 2.6.25+ kernels.

Your xorg.conf seems to be very minimal, no monitor or screen section?

I don't really need these sections, the defaults are just fine. Screen parameters are correctly determined via EDID.
