I think most people prefer big & successful companies. Not loosers AMD + ATI is now worth much less than ATI alone, before purchased by AMD.. They should fire Hector Ruiz (finally).

I prefer companies that produce quality products that are competitive. AMD/ATi does not do this. So therefor, i don't buy from them. Apparently this is an alien belief, because I'm being bashed for not wanting to buy from a company that sells dysfunctional hardware. I really wish someone would explain that one.

Well market success means good product (usually). Of course, certain portion of every market is dumb, but not majority of it. Thus big company = greater quality / better value in competitive markets.

Tyger, I don't think anyone gives a damn if you like or dislike AMD, its when you post threads like this for the sole purpose of pissing others off simply because you KNOW we disagree with you. Its called trolling.

If you still haven't figured out the difference between "ZOMGGG!!!!! AHHH AMD FAIL FAIL FAIL, YOU ARE ALL PATHETIC CUZ I SAID SO!!!!!!!!" and "AMD is making a lot of bad decisions and I think the X3 is yet another bad product." then don't whine when people tell you you're full of crap.


Also, rather than admit "I didn't know that companies binned products based on how well they worked." you just kept running with it after people told you you were wrong. That's another thing that irritates people and makes it difficult for them to respect your opinion.
