You are the one who actually thinks WiiFit will actually help someone lose weight. I guess I'm ignorant for actually knowing about health and fitness right?

WiiFit belongs on late night infomercials.

Tyger isn't ignorant. I guarantee he's in the best physical shape of all the forum members, plus he bangs tons of hot chicks like every few minutes. The secret is in the water.

Well then, obviously you've not played it. It's as simple as that...

If you know as much about health and fitness as you say, then could you kindly explain to me why Wii Fit would not help someone lose weight?

Because they'll play WiiFit and think they're getting a decent workout so they won't do as much other real exercise and they'll eat a little more.

Have you even seen the exercises on Wii Fit? What's not 'real' about them?

They're not very strenuous. But they still may cause strains and such that would make you feel tired. DDR, and heck, even Powerpad are more vigorous if you play them properly. Those don't compare to a workout on a treadmill, and actually going outside and getting fresh air is best of all.

It is interesting to see, how people, who haven't even used the device, know a lot more than us, who have.

How long do you fitness? I have 15 years of experience of heavy Fitness and Kick-boxing training (among cycling, tennis, pro-dancing, kayaking).

Really? Maybe you should do push-ups against the Wii Fit trainer. I've done 40 slow push-ups (not those lame fast push-ups) and trainer lost... I haven't even finished, I could go on. But they are strenuous.

It is obvious you haven't seen the Wii Fit training even from up-close. Let me see you do some of those not-strenuous Yoga poses. Or maybe 2 x 90 seconds of Super Hoola.

If you haven't noticed, there are a lot of people on this message board who bash anything Wii-related because they are "Hardcore"... mostly from the sony camp.
