so what's the cut-off for "legacy"??

I'm using a FX5200 at work, and an FX5900XT at home...

I noticed Nvidia's latest 177 series drivers are not going to support FX series any more, so I guess that makes them "Legacy"

too bad... I guess I'll have to buy a new computer soon... the funny thing is tho that my machine does everything else just fine, and it's plenty fast enough for me... just all the cool development in drivers will require the latest hardware (or 6 series at least)

Anything older than 7 series is legacy.

And soon, the 7 series will be legacy.

Well, I'm sure they haven't even made updates to the FX lineup in a longtime. Just use whatever the latest driver is for the card and it will work fine.
