Default Cray dumped AMD for Cascade supercomputer

Big $200M+ design win for Intel.

Cray originally choose AMD back in 2006 for Cascade project but after reviewed both AMD and Intel roadmap, Cray decided to use Intel post-Nehalem processors in Cascade supercomputer due in 2010-2011 timeframe.

AMD lost more than $200M deal they badly needed to recover from losses and pay off debt. Maybe from now AMD could never recover from this.
