Here we go. 720P, 1280x1024 widescreen. Doesn't matter. Its a brand new MS cable, second one now. The monitor is perfectly fine connected to my PC. And this looks fine connected to my TV

Wow! I must be lucky. I'm playing GTA on my Acer 22" through the microsoft VGA cable and it looks fine. Add to that the 5.1 headset connected through the optical cable and I'm loving it.

How do you take a screenshot of an Xbox game?

<snip thumbs> Yup, that's the way the game looks on non-CRTs. I gotta sit way back from my screen for it to look tolerable.

Here's what I get on my monitor in sig:

Some people say it looks good on theirs though which is what I dont understand. Is it really fine or are they just saying it's fine (liars)?

At least I'm not crazy. I'll just play on my TV.

Partially true but its worth noting the Pioneer 5080HD plasma placed #1 in a recent HDTV roundup: http://www.hometheatermag.com/lcds/2...ce/index7.html

The 5080HD was the only 768P tv in the roundup ,the rest were 1080P, yet it still placed #1 for overall image quality due to its superior contrast ratio & black levels.
