change the video cache in AoC settings to 150mb should give you a nice performance boost.
I dont think you should get a new cpu or vc. The price performance difference isnt that good from what you currently have. Wait for the next gen cards that are coming out.

As of the 24th(I'm on vacation right now and haven't been online in a few days) the buddy system hasn't been activated yet. The dev's say they are waiting for the first wave of subscribers to get "settled in".

I tried, but no boost in using that cache. I'm thinking if anything, an e8400 clocked around 4ghz should be an upgrade.

I do get what seems to be textures popping in to place. It's like there is no filtering on them even up close and then BAM they pop into place like they should. I'm using the 175.51 quadro driver and this is the first issue I've seen with it if it's even the case. I'm thinking the issue could be one of three things:

1. game engine not polished enough yet
2. incompatible driver
3. low amount of physical VRAM

I'm still interested in seeing what everyone else is using for VRAM under Rivatuner. It would help me in choosing between the G92 and e8400.

i think it will pass min resolution, but how fun will that be

will it be playable and enjoyable? I dont want to have to upgrade unless the game is super great, would like to see the game first and if i think i will play longer then 30 days maybe then will go out and buy a new pc

Ghost, it will probably run, but not very well.

Also, there was a test on another board somewhere, this game is ALL GPU. Processor upgrades gave like 1-2 FPS, while going to a better video card gave 10+ FPS.

Something like a C2D 2.4ghz with a 8800 GTX ran it better than a C2D 3.6ghz (OC) with a 7800 GTX.

I very much doubt that a cpu upgrade will give you any sort of performance increase. I bet you're GPU limited.

This game requires fast GPU. I'm getting from 36FPS - 80FPS, DX10.0, everything maxed AA 2x AF 8x. I'm really happy with the performance. Played yesterday for 6-7 hours.

This game crashes after i logout from the game to desktop Also i had one random crash. Same crash after logout my bro has as well.

Vista x64bit 4gb of RAM. Vista is horrible crap...
