I'm at work atm, but I'll try to get some nice SS later.
My avarage fps is about 40 at 1600x1200 x2AA, which isn't much lower then in DX9 (lost about 5fps).
I can't raid in DX10 without reducing some settings though, or I get 15 fps.

They still have some work to do, I'm not sure I like how god rays look atm. One of the earlier test patches had much nicer god rays.

I'm sticking with DX9 because I like the min FPS I get from SLi @ 1920x1200 with 16xCSAA. Under DX10 I notice next to a squat benefit from SLi while it does well with DX9.

It seems excactly the same as in the beta, doesn't intrest me. want to just skip it

Nope. Tortage is the only 1-20 zone and is compulsory, like chicken pox, and the only way to vary it is by playing the different classes and following their related plot lines. One of the threads on the AoC forum says you get offered the chance to be smuggled out from your trainer around level 12, but I can't say I've noticed that option.

I'll add that right now I'm very annoyed with a bug which starts the DX10 client windowed every time. I wish Funcom had the competence to go with their confidence.

Ok, so there is really no point to keep playing, the fileplanet 14 days trial is not really worth it.

At least for a trial, they should allow an option for players to create higher level characters to see what else the game got to offer.

No. I've read countless posts on the official forums where this setting causes bizarre shadows. That's on both ATi and nVidia hardware. I'd keep it off because it behaves like ass and causes a heavy FPS hit too.

All the other settings are fine.

First, you get a one off ability to create a new toon (already leveled to lvl 50) if you have an existing toon at 50 or above and provided u have one free character slot.

FC seems to be headed to allow re-feating after the 1.05 patch (vastly different) for minimal cost in game. They seem to be headed to allowing players to try out the refeats before commiting to it.

BTW DX9 works great with SLi, I get good scaling. DX10, well, my rig is faster with SLi off.
