Default Judging from all the interviews, no more Crysis?

So, here's the line of thought/reasoning,

-Crytek to no longer make PC-only games

-Crysis cannot be made on a console due to various issues, main thing is memory

-Crytek has been working on a multiplatform version of their engine for a while, which means they probably haven't been updated CE2 specifically for PCs

I think the *only* way we'll see another Crysis is if,

Crysis 2 and 3 are for the next generation of consoles, the "xbox 720" and PS4 or whatever you want to call them.

Do you agree with my reasoning here, or do you have something else I'm not thinking about?

lol man, I remember when that song owned the airwaves.

I have no idea when the next consoles are gonna hit, to me it would be a ways off, but then again what do I know.

I guess if the next consoles are a year away, that wouldnt seem so bad. 2+ years, then I guess people will have to wait for their next installment. Today while cruising around the TeamXbox site I seen Crysis at #4 in the "Coming soon" section of popular games. Funny I never pay any attention, then I see this thread. Maybe they plan on pulling it off?

nah I think I read an interview somewhere where they said crysis was running around med/high on current consoles. I'm sure we'll see it. The next consoles won't be out for a loong time.

I think PC Gamers will get an expansion or two, but no real sequel.

I think we'll see a re-done version of crysis for consoles @ medium and scattered high settings with those expansions mentioned above, included.

lol.. the game isnt even over....

they HAVE to release crysis 2 and possibly 3... they are already developed and just hiding ina box somewhere...

they just cut a game in half and gave us half tjhe story

we have to go back to the island and finish

in the editor, there are units and creatures and technologies that are BLANKED OUT WHITE.... but already developed drawn designed and all that good stuff for the sequel..

why would they trash all that?

they'll finish the story!

they effing better
