NVIDIA-SOLARIS-X86-173.08 related issues

I am running 8800 GTS on X86 Solaris 10 U5 connected a 1080P TV. Everything is running fine except two issues:

1. Overscanning. The viewable area is bigger than the TV. I have looked at other postings and NVIDIA mentioned a patch might be implemented in future releases. I suspect it is not included in this version and would like to confirm. TVOverScan is disabled and is by default 0.0. A work around would be greatly appreciated.

2. I connect the video card to the TV via a Svideo-Component cable and is working ok. When connect to the TV via a DVI-HDMI cable, I get a black screen when X starts up. Am I missing something or there is a compatibility issue?
