Default When new socket from Intel

Havent followed CPU's that much lately.
Were just wondering when will there be new socket from Intel?
The 775 been there for long.. shurely someting new coming?
Anybody know what and what kind of CPU's will be next?

Would like to upgrade my setup sometime...
But would be willing to wait if new from Intel is not to far away in the future,

Nehalem introduces on-die memory controller (Three Channel! w00t!), a new pin config was required for the extra paths.

Huh? LGA 775 has been around for a century (not really) and you're comparing it to skt 754 and 939?!?!

Maybe he's referring to the fact that early 775 boards couldn't run Core 2 Duo chips anyway, so might as well have been another socket in upgraders eyes?

I have no problem with it myself
