We learn from pcinlife forum that GeForce GTX 280 graphics card can get 7k+ scores in 3DMark Vantage Extreme test, double the score of 9800GX2 in 3DMark Vantage Extreme test. But now we still don’t know the specification of the test hardware and software configurations. We learn that GeForce GTX 280 graphics card is equipped with 512-bit 1GB DDR3 video memory; it has 240 stream processors with 250W power consumption. OMG X7000+? If that true then it is over 3 times faster than Geforce 8800GTX at default clock speed 575/1800 with Q6600 overclocked to 3GHz scored X1856 3DMarks.

Talk about nothing, no proof of anything.
The 9900GTX is suppose to be the next top card in Nvidia's lineup and even that isn't out yet, and with it having at least a life cycle of 6 months as Nvidia's best the GTX280 won't be seen till at least Christmas of this year but most likely early 2009.
