Just finished the game for the first time. It's definitely one of the few games that I've played that is worth a replay. The story is seriously epic. I encountered a few glitches, but nothing serious. My support team would occasionally freeze, sound glitching and recurring sounds happened a couple times at least, and an elevator froze on me once. Fortunately, all of these things corrected themselves by reloading the level from the main menu.

Good job Bioware! Kick ass game indeed!

My thoughts exactly. The game's only been out for a few days and he's already completed it? Who completes an RPG of this level in such short time? lol

I only did a couple of side quests. I wanted to see what the overall story was like. I haven't explored the universe at all.

That's my next task, now that I have a built up character.

I just got the game today. I couldn't install it from the DVD. WTF is up with that? I had to copy the DVD to my HD then install from those files. Kind of messed up it might be because I have a chkdsk running on another drive in the background but it's just a little strange. I guess I should go play it now .

Christ, all the hype is true, this game is awesome; I'm already thinking about what i want to do on my next play through!

Performance is superb on an aging A64 3700+ with an 8800GT 512MB, running at 1650x1080 with 2xSuperSampleAA. Only bug I've encountered in about 15 hours of play is sometimes elevators won't move after you get inside and activate them, you just stand there waiting for the doors to close. Has happened about 4 times, so not that often but it might be a good idea to quick save before hopping into any elevators, especially if you recently found some sweet loot!

Overall I think it is extremely similar to KOTOR in gameplay, which is a good thing. However the textures could still be improved. Lots of 360 leftover textures still in there.

As with any BIOWARE RPG, I'm enjoying the game.

Yup. I just had plenty of time on my hands between the last couple of days and this morning.

Played a little bit and it really blows away the 360 version. The texture loading problem of the 360 version is almost gone (I noticed a very quick one) and is well worth playing it again to just not have that "feature" that drove me nuts. The inventory system is greatly improved, though there are a few things I wish were different about it.

What does everyone mean by "texture loading" problem? Do you mean blurry textures when the level loads?

Epic just has that with their engine so you're not sitting at a loading screen as long, as they pushed "no loading" a good bit during their tech demos.
