what is more interesting that we were lied to from the start, PC version was in development before Console version was released, it was kept quite to sell more consoles.

Kind of typical in most all porting jobs one way or another. It was funny how once Epic said UT3 was very far in development for Xbox 360, and then later said the development on the 360 version hadn't even been started and had to fess up.

My old character was a solder, so he was straight guns and grenades. He was also a saint in his actions.

My new character is a complete 180: he's a biotic, and is a total ass. I've also bumped up the difficulty on this character. It's quite fun though.

What are your frames most of the time? I ask because I am on a E6300@3.4ghz along with 4gbs ram and an 8800GT that is pretty heavily overclocked.

At the same settings I get around 45+fps walking around outside and dips into the 30's in fire fights.

With No AA I rarely see less than 60fps, Typical of the unreal engine to take such a hit with AA applied.

I agree with everyone on this forum about performance. I'm watching CPU and Ram usage on my G15, and The CPU stays @ 100% almost the entire time... That's an E6600 @ 3.2Ghz. The gameplay is very smooth though, so it's a good fit. 1920x1200, 4xMSAA, 16xAF, all settings maxed w/ screen filter off. I'm probably getting an average of 30-40fps. I'll have to benchmark it later tonight.

If you have an 8800, force MSAA in the control panel. It's worth the framerate loss. This game is freakin gorgeous!

I got a ship and crew. I can't navigate through galaxy map. When i activate screen is black with name of the galaxy on top. I can briefly see a map when i hit escape or right button on mouse but then switched to another galaxy?

It really does look good with AA turned on but I like my FPS to much and I really think that the Unreal Engine does a fine job of not having to many jaggies when no AA is applied.

Just FYI, don't remove Mass_Effect_Logo_Movie.bik if you're just starting. It removes part of the intro sequence...

No offense and I don't mean to assume you're a pirate, but this problem is widespread with cracked versions of the game...
