Same here, hopefully it'll get released sometime this year.

Yeah, what the hell. Didn't they announce it back in January that this patch is being worked on for release?

How can I install the old DLC with the Steam version? I downloaded it and it asks me for a registration key, the one from Steam doesn't work, I have no idea what to put in.

Go to the BioWare site and register your game with the Steam CD Key. You'll get a new key for the DLC, then use that key.

The DLC is awesome. Hard, but awesome. There's new textrues and stuff in it which was a pleasant surprise. And they didn't half-ass on the dialogue either, which is awesome. Just make sure you save before the last battle because you'll have... well.. I won't spoil it.

Oh, almost forgot. After you install the DLC, run the MassEffectConfig.exe in Steam\steamapps\common\mass effect\Binaries in WinXP compatability mode. You'll then see the Repair Shader Cache option when you launch it. Run it, and you should be good to go. If you don't you'll get whacked textures on Therum.

Just got the game off Steam last weekend. Played as an Adept and remember I'm horrible at "mage" classes. Starting over as Solly.

Game has been amazing so far. There's a lot of worlds to explore, the story and voice acting have been top notch, and I love the character designs. It reminds me a lot of Kotor without swords.
