I NEED HELP WITH FEDORA 9 FOR AN A.G.P. NVIDIA 6200 VIDEO CARD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR IT. I'VE LOOKED AT http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...32_169.12.html AND IT'S VARY COMPLICATED BECOUSE I USED TO BE A WINDOWS USER. MICROSOFT REALY MAKES ME ANGRYER EVERYDAY

Fedora 9 is very new, nvidia is working on driver support for it, but its not entirely there yet. You *can* get the beta driver 173.08 working, but only withOUT 3d support, and the procedure is not for newbies. I suggest that you use fedora 8 for now, install the freshrpms repository (go to www.freshrpms.net and click the button that says "click here from within firefox"), then go to "add/remove programs" and search for "nvidia".

Just an update for you... the new drivers are out. They have to be installed manually at the moment though, probably be packaged by the aforementioned site shortly though.
