Oh yes, Street Fighter IV on PC, AWESOME. Capcom is taking seriously its membership at the PC Gaming Alliance.

Capcom has been pushing the PC more than a lot of developers. Lost Planet, WITH UPGRADES, Devil May Cry 4 still coming, with some upgrades as well, and now this one announced.

I actually don't think it's part of that gaming alliance thing, that group is about marketing and such. They joined the alliance BECAUSE they want to support the PC. The alliance joining didn't make them make PC versions of games.

Virtua Fighter 5 ran on PC hardware in arcades (Geforce 6800GT, Pentium 4 3.0GHz), yet they never made any PC version at all, let alone a bootable (no XP, so you'd have to boot into it) pirated copy of the arcade game.

I doubt the arcade units show you a desktop when you turn them on.
Well... you can easily mod XP to run any program when it boots up instead of explorer.exe to turn it into a dedicated system. But yea I imagin there is going to be some software, if not hardware encryption since capcom has been encrypting their arcade boards since super SF2.

However said encryption has been broken.
