Default [Flash and nvidia] Fulscreen very choppy

Hello!
I'm using latest prerelease version of flash - 10(astro).
When watching movies at fullscreen on my computer (7600gt) are extremely choppy - I thought it was because of flash.
However today at work I was shocked, because on an cheap intel integrated graphichs was running super-smooth at fullscreen (1280x1024)!

So why my geforece 7600gt, which was more expensive than intel, can't do that?
Please tell me this is only a missconfigured xorg (I also tried to disable hw accell in flash settings). Bugreport attached.

The testing machine was using same software setup - opensuse 10.3 with same updates. Though it is a dualcore (mine is A64 2800+), but that probably doesn't do the trick, because there are complaints even on quad core for flash choppines.
However still I don't get it why on intel integrated graphics is so smooth.

Last time I mentioned this problem with NVIDIA drivers (I get terrible fullscreen performance on an 8800 GTX) someone blamed it on Adobe's poor Linux development practices.

Glad to see my intuition wasn't wrong.

I tried now with latest 173.14.05 driver - same.
Take a look here at this bugreport:
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-83

Isn't strange that there are systems only with nvidia cards? I'm suspecting a problem related to nvidia.

For what it is worth, I find the new flash 10 beta plays fullscreen video very well, but flash 9 was terrible (I'd guess 2-4 fps). I am still using 100.14.19 (8800GTS 640) and am not using a compositing window manager so that may play a role.

The same problem here with flash 9 and 10. I didn't try newest nvidia drivers yet, but probably it won't change anything. Nvidia drivers just don't accelerate flash...

I got a feedback from a local user, claiming that he has nvidia card and flash is working very well on linux (fullscreen). I'll get his xorg.conf next week and compare to mine.

@Kirurgs: what is quite good? What resolution?
I have 1600x1200.

The same here.
I think the problem is the scaling video acceleration.
Adobe Flash or NVIDIA don't support scaling video with hardware acceleration on Linux.

It must go deeper than that.

It's trivial to write a scaling algorithm that doesn't bottle out at high resolutions on modern CPUs.
