Default GeForce4 MX4400 not in Supported Products List

The Nvidia driver-chooser points me to version 96.43.07, but GeForce4 MX4400 is not listed in the Supported Products List. Why is my card not listed in supported products, and is 9643 truly the correct driver for this card?

I read the README for 96.43.07 and 71.86.06, and the MX4400 is listed as 'supported' in both files. But what about the paragraph above the compatability section of the README files, such as:
Quote:
For the most complete and accurate listing of supported GPUs, please see the
Supported Products List, available from the NVIDIA Linux x86 Graphics Driver
download page. Please go to http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html, follow the
Archive link under the Linux x86 heading, follow the link for the 96.43.07
driver, and then go to the Supported Products List.
It is there on the web site (the place it says to go for the most accurate listing), that my card is not listed. Which brings me back to my original question: Is GeForce4 MX 4400 supported or not?

Thank you.

The supported cards page doesn't seem to have every single nvidia card on it, but I'm sure your card is supported (I've yet to see any that aren't). The 96.43.* series is the right one for that card since everything below the 5xxx series cards are supported in the legacy drivers.
