Just had a blast with TrackIR. It works very well with the game and after adjusting the raw rate to my liking I found my self turning my head in to corners without thinking. I get the feeling it would feel natural pretty quickly. The problem for me is; it only works on the inside view, and I'm totally ****ing useless in that view. As good as it was I still switched to my fave view where it don't work . So I would say if you generally use the inside view anyway, it might well be worth a purchase .

I have just started playing this game since I installed the ATI 4870 recently. All I can say is WOW!!

I race alot of other titles. And ya they are more simulation like and crap like that but the artistic side of this game is unreal. A touch easy even with aids disabled but still a challenge!

I am playing Ultra settings bumped to 1680x1050. I have never had racing graphics this smooth. 60 fps solid at all times. What a treat. Driving with my MOMO FFB Racing wheel and peddals works well.

I hope it remains this entertaining!

I just love how it feels like what I do will effect me later on. I wish there was practice laps though. But I can do that with Raceday anyway.

MOMO working great here.

Thumbs up Re: Grid...

Just picked this up for $39.99, not bad, 360 version is $54.99. It's a great game, takes a little to get used the controls, but it seems like it was made for the 360 controller. Once you start it up you can use the controller to navigate the menus and it feels like you are playing a 360 (except for the sharper graphics on the PC version).

It's a great looking game and I'm running the 1.2 patch with no issues. This game was described by one review as a hybrid sim/arcade racer and I think it fits. It's definitely in a league of it's own. Every track has a different feel to it, from modded Mustangs to Ferrari's, every track is a class by itself. Some tracks feel arcade like, others, very sim.

Overall, I love this game. The music, 3d Lettering, usage of your name via voice, the play back has real looking camera work, etc.
