Yeah it was crashing in the advanced graphic settings menu, but I've redownloaded it:

And now it works fine
Thanks

Nope did not work either. I reinstalled the game, patched and cleared all old files, it still crashed at the graphics menu after getting in through safemode. I'm uninstalling and going to give it another try in vista.

looks like this forum will never die, its what you make out of the game that matters, if you like it, then you like it, if you hate it, doesn't mean its bad, it just means that you hate it

Codemasters today announced that its popular racing game Race Driver: GRID (PC, PS3, X360) will receive downloadable content later this fall.

The "8 Ball" DLC will include two new multiplayer events, and eight new cars: the McLaren F1 GTR, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Honda S2000, Nissan GT-R (S-G2008) , VW Nardo, Pontiac Firebird Trans AM and Volvo C30.

Additionally, the Xbox 360 version of the DLC will come with four more achievements for the game totalling a hundred points.

No pricing was announced, nor were plans for a PC release of the additional content. Codemasters did note that it will also release a V8 Supercars pack for the game later this year.
V8 !!! I hope they'll make the Bathurst track available

i finally picked up this game today.........played it all evening. totally loving this game. runs great. i went flipping thru most of the pages on this thread but didn't see anything on this...... anytime you choose anything above 10x7 res it goes to "custom" details instead of "ultra".

hope this doesn't bring down the visuals. i have every thing else maxed out in advanced but i noticed in the config section it says "medium" detail. so i hope i don't have to play at low res. to get maximum visuals. i'm also running at 16XQCCAA
