Default Windows/CPU-z/Bios which to trust?

Ok, so i dont know if anyone remembers, but i had trouble bringing my computer up to 4 gigs of RAM some time ago. By default, ALL sorces would see approx 3.3 gigs, and only showed 4 when i forced it through bios. Problem was that i would completely loose internet once i forced 4. Maybe had something to do with my NIC, i dont know.
So after loading SP1, i tried again. Now, CPU-z AND Vista show 4 gigs, and bios shows 3.3.
I dont want to force it through bios yet, because last time it gave me heeps of trouble. I just want to ask if anyone knows, am i actually running 4 gigs, or is it the 3.3 bs again?

Thanks alot as always.

EDIT: also if anyone has the DFI bios configuration for 4 gigs, that would be awesome. Still running on the 2 gig one

Bob, there is a bios update available at DFI for enhanced memory support on that board.
http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Downloa...FLAG=A&SITE=US

Double check the version on that board, I don't remember.

2005/12/07 is where the fix was introduced, just dl the latest bios and flash that. It may be the answer to your issue.

Just small update, finally everything worked when forcing more then 4 gigs.
Now just need the bios settings to maximize the system
BTW: everything flies now, even before i forced >4 gigs, opens instantly.
