![]() 2.66GHz Bloomfield is about 45% nearly twice faster than Yorkfield at the same clock speed. Take a look at Bloomfield's voltage for 2.66GHz... 0.856V. ![]() I think I made the right decision to skip Yorkfield, Bloomfield is worth the wait. ![]()

I think our friend AthlonXP isn't very good with numbers. Bloomfield is 45% faster, not twice as fast (which is still a nice boost).
What's 45% more than 100? 145. What's double 100? 200. Same number? Nope. |

Sorry my bad, I calculated the wrong way around using my betting strike rate, it not working the same way.
Actually it about 66% faster nearly twice the speed of Q9450 CPU scored 9827 in 3DMark Vantage I found in the database, I dont know if it is the lowest Q9450 CPU score. http://service.futuremark.com/result...eResultType=19

Wow, quite a nice performance jump.
Its amazing how much more CPUs are doing per-clock than they were just a few years ago.
