The 'right' controls for DMC4 is a GAMEPAD. This is even more crucial than playing a FPS with mouse+KB by far. I can't imagine at all how this game could ever work well with mouse+KB...

AC is a completely different game.

They need to make a Keyboard with a movement control thing like in the console controls. I don't think those 360 movement specials are going to work in SF4...pretty sure zangief will have that...its impossible to do that on keyboard ><...

Just played this with my 360 gamepad. Amazing looking game, runs really great, but I don't understand the appeal. I don't see what is fun about hitting one or two buttons over and over and watching the exact same enemy reactions over and over without any variation in the way of physics or animations. Bleh.

That is what i thought when i played the 360 demo and promptly dismissed it. Then playing the PC demo months later, DMC4 is much more than just random button bashing. There are a variety of button combinations that need to be bought and learnt. Playing the full game on my 360, there is absolutely no way you will get anywhere in this game without buying skills, learning them and applying them in combat in via combos. You can uses different strings of combos to tackle different enemies and how you fight is completely up to you but if you do get the full game, believe me, you won't get anywhere by bashing two buttons. Hell you can bash the 'Y' button multiple times and that will give you a four hit combo/move but some enemies dodge that. DMC4 is much more than that.

This is THE best port i have ever seen. Performs like a game made from scratch. Graphically outstanding too! worth sacrificing my MMOs for this one for few months.

wow killing the boss was fun!! 3rd time was the charm.

That's what most people see in games like God of War and Heavenly sword, fact it you can play the game like that and while it'll be hard you can finish it. That's what makes it accessible, but if you play properly, all these games have combos and counters that can make the game so much better. Heavenly Sword for example, you have to choose the right style of attack, then amoungst that style you have combos and counters, it might look like mashing buttons, but it's usually a flurry of precise taps to pull of a tricky combo and/or counter.

Really fast running to, 120fps for the win on this end.

The whole debate of anyone who will not play this game because its better with gamepad is "STUPID"

KB&M for RTS / FPS / MMORP

Gamepad for most everything else.

Sports / Racing / Fighting Games / Adventure Games / Hack and Slash Games / Mame games

Very simple.

Tried this demo and didn't like it at all. I just can't get into games that are strictly keyboard with no mouse movement controlled. It's just not the way I play games. I'm not into Xbox and the others using gamepads (and never will). Gotta have my normal mouse/keyboard controls. No offense but this game looked like something a kid would play. Just couldn't hang with it.
