Default Prob Compiling Nvidia driver

Hi there I am trying to compile the NVidia drivers on a RH9 box, freshinstall and it is falling over on compile.
gcc version (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)
kernel 2.4.20-8

Anyone got any suggestions?

Default YOU CAN IGNORE THIS

I was trying to compile version .296 or somthing hadn't noticed the .run file that supported redhat9 you can forget this post, me being stupid.
