You can't really say based on those shots. MOH Pacific is an OLD game now, it'll look better than that (or it least it should).

I'm on a plane tomorrow afternoon, heading out to Treyarch in LA, to get a sneak peak at CoD World at War.

Don't know how much info is embargoed, but will try and fill in as much as I can when I can.

I also attended the pre release of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, and was also on the external beta test team (only about 5 of us).

The main problem, besides the lack of support from EA, on that title was the fact that the imperial army's (Japan) weapons where no match for the Allies and how exciting can you make jungle warfare? The setting, at that time was almost technically impossible.

It will be interesting to see how Treyarch handles this MAJOR huddle. also how they incorporate the swimming under water in both SP and MP as described in the xbox article.

Side note: it is kind of funny how Treyarch's idea of a new CoD is to add vehicles to whatever Infinity Ward did... then skimp on the polish.
UO was far and away more popular than any other series of COD so far. It was Grey Matter that did UO, and they merged with Treyarch, so it probably isn't the same. UO was a new standard of gaming when it came out.

I was talking about the console port of the first game, and CoD3, not the PC expansion.

Graphics look horrible compared to COD4. I personally also don't like the pacific front...
