Anyone wanna recommend a good, CHEAP headset with a mic attached? I just want something cheap to do team chat on TF2.

I'm looking at spending around $20-$25 at the most. I'm cheap, I know.

I use THESE - $18.99
Nothing special, but they get the job done, and they don't hurt my ears. I can wear them for hours and still be comfortable. |

Maybe it is because of all the nice things say about me, but I have sensitive ears, and I can't see how anyone could wear a headset without full ear muffs on it. Now only are they comfortable, but they improve audibility quite a bit. The downside is that I have never found any that are cheap.

I just use a pair of Cyber Acoustics that look like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826275006 They are very light and supringsly comfortable for long periods of time. I can actually stand to wear them longer than my Sennheisers because they aren't as heavy. I have 2 pair of these and no issues with either of them, and I have rolled over the cord multiple times with my chair. Also in my experience the USB headphones seem to be harder to setup, and not all of them have mic boost either, so I've had a few friends where I'd have a harder time hearing them because we couldn't make them any more sensitive. |
