I still want to know how they take a 4:3 image and make it fit 16:9 without any distortion.
some early DVD where like that, where the actual frames where 4:3, but distorted, then 4:3 frame was stretched by DVD to fit 16:9 screen.

tbh, that is what is most important. hell, id rather have an hour long cutscene that feels like 5 min versus a 5 min cutscene that feels like an hour

Umm...did they cut all the cool 6 axis motion controller usage from the game? Previews showed you coolly leaning out to peek when you tilted the controller.

Is there any motion controller use in the game at all?

I want to play this game so bad but I can't justify paying $500 for it.

Thing is it doesn't show any sign of it being stretched. We all know the tell tale signs of images being stretched but MGS4 shows none of it.

Has anybody here got the Collector's Edition perorder from Gamestop which includes the Blu-Ray documentary thing and soundtrack? How is it if you did?

And when you are done, care to sell that Blu-Ray to me?

Bought a copy.

Only been able to play about 15 min. so far because I had to go back to work
but without a doubt those were some of the BEST 15 min. of gaming ever.

They really put some work into this and it shows. It's really great to see for once,
(maybe some other developers should take note... EA!?)
-and also good to know my money is being put toward something worthwhile.

Can't wait to get off work and play !!!!! It looks amazing.

Awesome game, loving it so far. The sense of choice is brilliant, so much for being a stealth game... for the hell of it I just took bunches of guys out with guns.

One little bit of brilliance was being able to turn off the Octocamo and instead pick colours to match the rebels so they don't attack but instead fight alongside you more so than they normally do.

Just lots of nice cool touches all over the place.
