CapnKirk, you're going to get yourself banned if you continue harassing other users and acting like a child.

Consider yourself warned.

The build is for a friend btw...
I ordered the Rampage... Has a nice bundle with Stalker full game, 3d mark 06 and sound card included. The board has many overclocking options in the bios which is a plus.

Spec will be q6600, Nvidia 9800gx2, Asus Rampage, 1000w coolermaster psu, 1066 Corsair ram Dominator, Thermalright ulatra extreme 120, coolermaster 830 Evolution case... Will psot pics when ive finished it.

Just bought a new ECS GF8200 board, is not the best board ever. but for server/media center is perfect.

I order from scan computers in UK, http://www.scan.co.uk/ as i only live 5 minutes drive away i always go there in person rather than having to wait for delivery or if i have to RMA anything, it can be done over the counter.

Will be using this mobo for a q6600 cpu and nvidia 9800GX2 to run on a 30" Dell. Overclocking will definately be a must.

What do you guys think ?
I have the Asus Rampage Formula (x48) with E8400
with Zalman 9700NT cooler (need to trim the mounting bracket a bit due to MB cooler fins by back connectors)
4 gig of 1066.

Running WinXP Sp3 32bit.
easily overclocked to 3.6gz (Its way too easy).

my opinion: Very sweet, but I have a few minor complaints.

With the Zalman, my CPU is the coolest part of my system (how weird is that?) under load (crysis) 42C..

the NB has hit 61C, after upgraded case fans: now peaks at 58C. Thats still a bit hot for my tastes. The hot NB warms the MB.

Enjoying it as is, while I take an upgrade break and search for other NB cooling options.

I have no regrets (other than the cost) of this MB. Very pleased.
No issues. Rock solid from initial assembly.
