Yea that's why I like VMWare better. The video/mouse/sound drivers are easily available.

Yea, but the thing is that I have AMD and you have intel.

I'm getting Kernel Panic errors when I reboot. So I guess I can't reboot, haha.

What distro of OSX are you running? Does your chip support virtualization? Make sure it's enabled in BIOS.

Nice! Hope that works out for you. I know that using these crazy distros like iAtkos never works 100% and it will piss you off. I know it pissed me off when I had no audio.

I've decided I'm not buying.

My main purpose was seeing if I would like OSX or not, when I already know I'd be pretty happy with it.

I'll just wait until I decide if I'm going to grab a nice 15" macbook one day

Ya, I used an actual disk. Gonna work on it today. Maybe try VMWare for the heck if it.

Go for it. I love my MBP, it's the best laptop I've ever used.

Just removed VirtualBox and installed VMWare. Wow, LOADS better. Albo - Try this route.

Everything works.

If only someone had said to use VMWare before... oh wait.

Or a different version?

Go tell your sad sap story elsewhere.

Only reason I didn't do it previously was I read (mistakenly) that it was a 512MB download. On my home speed, that's 3 hours. Im impatient and went for VB instead.

...as the old tale goes, going the shorter route always takes longer.

Have stuff going on all night but when I get back late tonight I am going to mess around some more. VMWare is great software.

Only thing acting up is I get random freezes on Safari and have to force quit.

AND... THANKS VIN86(25).

Their. Be happy.
