Nicely done! I'm kinda surprised this thread is still going.

Thanks. I recently updated it to 10.6.7 too, and finally got Sleep working.

It's pretty crazy that this thread is almost 3 years old.

I just updated (a few minutes ago) to 10.6.7 on my C2D machine, and, surprisingly, I didn't have to use Multibeast to restore sound through with an older sound kext. Either Apple's newest update was modified by Apple to not try to restore modified or older sound kexts or it installed a new sound kext that happens to be compatible with Hackintosh systems. Either way, I was pleasantly surprised. It's the first update where I've not had to do a single thing to get the system in perfect working order.

Yes my update didn't require me to reinstall any kexts either. iBoot and Multibeast are really incredible.

Just upgraded to Lion on one of my Hackintosh machines. I did a fresh installation using the latest Chameleon build. Overall it was a pretty painless installation.

Nice any idea how easy it is to install via the App Store? I still have to move to 10.6.8.

Multibeast FTW, for sure. The only thing not working after my installation was sound, and I was able to sort that out with Multibeast.

tonymac has posted his Lion install method. I will probably purchase Lion sometime this week and give it a go on my Hackintosh.

Tried to update to 10.6.8 to get ready for Lion, but I forgot to replace the IOPCIFamily.kext so now my system won't boot. Can't even get into safe mode or single user mode. Just freezes. Oh well, guess I will start over and see if I can get up to 10.6.8, then I will attempt Lion.

Besides, I paid for my software at least. Better than most can say heh. Using my retail 10.6.3 copy and when I move to Lion I will purchase it from the App Store.
